Initial – Post-Secondary Scholarship Application [Download]

• One time $1000.00 scholarships to graduating high or vocational school students intending on enrolling in a program of study at a trade-school, college, or university.
• This scholarship is limited to children and grandchildren of VFW Post 2947 members who will graduate high school this year and intend to pursue a college degree upon graduation.
• Due by the second Friday in April

Renewal – Post-Secondary Scholarship Application [Download]

• One-time $500.00 scholarship to trade-school, college, or university students continuing their education.
• This scholarship is limited to children and grandchildren of VFW Post 2947 members who are continuing their education at a trade-school, college, or university. Only one renewal allowed per student.
• Due by the first Friday in June

VFW Auxiliary Terra State Community College Scholarship [Download]

• Students who are currently serving or are honorably discharged veterans are eligible to apply for the $500 scholarship for Fall semester donated by the VFW Auxiliary Post 2947. The application deadline is April 1st for the following fall semester.
• The qualifications are (a) Accepted at Terra State Community College & (b) Have a good academic record
